The turist and medieval quarter of the city where Arabs arrived in the past. The urban plan of this zone shows this former occupation with the Kasbahs, a block of houses who formed the historic centre, the citadel. Here are the Castle of São Jorge, The Lisbon Catedral, the Monastery of São Vicente de Fora, The Church of Santo António, the Santa Luzia Belvedere and Largo das Portas ao Sol.
